To All Players and Parents,
On June 9th, the Government of Alberta announced that Phase 2 of the re-launch will begin today. Albertans have contributed to successfully limiting the effect of COVID-19 in our province, and as a result more activities are being allowed.
We are excited that our players will be able to resume activities in the next few weeks. However, there are two very important considerations for our club:
As a result, the club will begin the careful process of getting our players back on the fields. Based on what we can safely do, the club will be offering the following starting the week of June 22:
A 5 week training program for a minimum of 2 times per week will be offered at a cost of $100. New registration forms will be posted on the website by Monday morning, and sent directly to all families that had registered or indicated interest in our outdoor season. All fees that have not yet been refunded will be as we are unable to issue partial refunds. Registered participants will be sent waiver forms to complete and return prior to attending training.
A 10 week training program for a minimum of 2 times per week will be offered at a cost $200. The last week of this training will be the tryouts for the indoor season. At this point the club is anticipating that there will be no league games for the outdoor season. All players that had paid fees for the 2020 outdoor season will be refunded their fees in full, and you will be sent a new registration form to pay the reduced fee. Our registration system does not allow for partial refunds. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE WAIVER FORMS SENT BY YOUR TEAM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE. This is an ASA requirement. Should standards for safe play change, we are prepared for this and will advise accordingly, making any necessary adjustments, including an additional fee at that time to cover league fees for games.
We thank you for your dedication to your club and your understanding in these rapidly changing times. Let’s get out on the fields and have some FUN!
