June 13, 2017 – Southwest United and its players are grateful to the Government of Alberta Ministry of Culture and Tourism for their generous $15,000 grant. This grant, coming through the Alberta Community Initiatives program (CIP), went to fund the purchase of our new team jerseys.

On June 11, 2017 we invited the Honourable Richard Feehan, MLA for Edmonton-Rutherford and Minister of Indigenous Relations to the Ivor Dent Fields where he presented the cheque to the club.

Fantastic news for the club! Huge thanks to the Government of Alberta for their generosity, and to those who worked so very hard on this initiative.
